Blessedly, the tea calmed Jacopo, and, in a weakened but suddenly peaceful state, Santi’s
father drifted off to a deep, calm sleep. Santi decided he could slip away, quickly, quickly, to the
Bow and Dart. Oh, everything’s fallen apart...he thought, as scurried away to the tavern.
