Daedalus: I can hear you.
Icarus: Yes, because I'm right above you.
Daedalus: It's okay to fly higher, Icarus. Don't be too scared.
Icarus: Oh, for the love of Minos.
Daedalus: Cretians might be shooting arrows at us, Icarus. So we need to stay high.
Icarus: I just said that, Dad. Between 220 and three --
Daedalus: That might be a Cretian ship down there. I know you're assuming you can't fly as
high as I can, but you can, Icarus. I know you can. And if I know you can, then,
say it with me:
Icarus and Daedalus: I know I can too.
Daedalus: Good for you! But...where are you?
Icarus: Look up, Dad.
Daedalus: I know you're frightened to fly higher than I am, but see if you can stay under me,
then, so I can keep an eye on you.
Icarus: I was testing our upper limits to make sure the Cretians --
Daedalus: I'm worried about the Cretians’ arrows.
Icarus: All right, I'll come down to your height, Dad, but I think it's too low.
(Icarus flaps; something springs loose.)
Icarus: Uh oh. Dad. I think we have a problem.
Daedalus: Look up, Icarus. Try to find me.
Icarus: My pinions are vectoring. There's some torque I didn't calculate.
Daedalus: You're always staring at the ground, Icarus. You won't ever succeed if you're
looking at the ground all the time.
Icarus: Dad, I'm losing altitude.
Daedalus: You've been so brave, trusting me so far, I just need you to fly a little higher, Icarus,
so I can see you.
