Story the Fifth:
              The Dragon Who Would Glimpse Heaven

         Is that -- is that an angel falling from the sky?” asked Fuocorogo the
dragon, lifting his head out of the scalding waters of the River Styx.

         It's rare for a dragon who lives in Hell to see an angel, but it happens.
Usually it's a case of someone who's Fallen, so that doesn't really count as
there are only the fewest of minutes of them standing on Styx's banks when
they're still technically an angel, but that ends the instant they step a foot onto
Charon's boat. The other times might include some millennium-old prune of
an archangel who's lost his or her wits and along with it, a sense of direction.
They don't get ferried across Styx; there'd be too much danger of their
