         “We'll speak no more of it.”
         “And the roast duck, sire, I heard it was most excellent last night?”
         “What? What's a roast duck?”
         “I -- mean that literally. You said we'll speak no more about it, so I was changing the
subject and asking about your dinner last night. Roast duck, wasn't it?”
         “Yes. Yes, in fact, it was most delicious. Most delicious indeed.”
         And with that, they parted ways and left the Tribune.
         “Most delicious indeed.”
         Santi del Meglio finally let out a breath, having been frightened to make a single sound.
